The second long-awaited album from the leading Russian funeral doom metal band Comatose Vigil!
During more than five years since their EP “Narcosis” the band’s line-up several times have changed for various gigs, but finally they returned to the original one, in which was recorded the debut album, made the band famous: A.K. iEzor – vocals, drums; ViG’iLL – guitars, bass; ZiGR – keyboards. It’s in this classical line-up they have recorded their brand new album «Fuimus, Non Sumus…».
The recording was performed at Primordial Studio (Russia), also famous for work with Revelations of Rain, Who Dies In Siberian Slush, engineered by Hater & Stellarghost (from Abstract Spirit, Twilight Is Mine). Mixing & mastering was done by Greg Chandler (from Esoteric) at Priory Recording Studios (UK).
The CD contains three absolutely new compositions with total length of 75’35”! Comatose Vigil music became more mature, balanced and rich, certainly, continuing its cold, dark monumental tradition. Sounding noticeably transformed, in adding power, depth, and transparency, while a feeling for fine details become more well-marked, crowning a breathtaking material. This work can deservedly be considered one of the best examples of funeral doom metal in the world!
The album is issued as a noble limited edition digipack containing a booklet, and a hand-numbered inlay with band photo and musicians original signatures!

Album “Tragedy And Weeds” has become a new era in the bands work, denoting the transition to a new, high quality sound, more thoughtful material, and the desire to mature. The team once again became a trio, but the Abstract Spirit has ceased from a side project of famous musicians  to a full band, performing live shows.
“Tragedy And Weeds” is the same sludgy funeral doom, full of  fleeting touches of depressive black. Melodies, filled with despair, and if is  filled with schizophrenic delusions, evokes feelings of anxiety and fear, casting the listeners down into the abyss of despair. The sound of wind instruments resemble the old, sad, funeral orchestra, accompanying the low belly growl, hysterical cries and sepulchral recitative. All this gives birth to a unique atmosphere Abstract Spirit!

This is a side project of a black metal band Twilight is Mine from the suburbs of Moscow. Several musicians have been heard in a well known Moscowian funeral doom band Comatose Vigil. Those guys – Stellarghost (keys) and Hater (bass/guitars) began this project. Present Comatose Vigil vocalist took the vocal duties together with the drums in this project.
The first full length album “Liquid Dimensions Change” brings you six tracks with the total length of 60 minutes. This is classic funeral – doom like it was meant to be. Thin of the bands as: Shape of Despair, Coliseum and of course the main band of the participating musicians – Comatose Vigil. At the same time the music is very versatile. You will find very sludgy and muddy parts combined with some beautiful melodies.

A new work of a famous band from Moscow – majestic, monolithe funeral-doom with deep growlings and stern atmosphere of despair and pain. The new song “Narcosis”, released before the upcoming full-length album, is presented in two versions – with lyrics written in English and lyrics in Russian. In addition, there is an exclusive bonustrack/surprise on the CD, which won’t be released anywhere else. The EP was recorded according to the tradition in a famous Russian “Navaho Hut” studio.
“Narcosis” is released with limited edition of 900 hand-typed copies. The CD is covered using pit-art.
