Wormlight as a band began as melodic black metal band from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 2014 under the name Unhallowed by King Antichrist (Drums) and Deafeathered (Guitar) . Soon Lator Mortis (Guitar) joined them and they recorded and released their rst demo/Ep “An Ancient Enemy” that same year. In 2015 Deafeathered left the band and the band reached out to Tiamat Invictuz whom joined the band in time for the recording of the “Blood elds” Ep. After the recording of the Ep Nordlyst left the band and Tiamat Invictuz took up the vocals as well as guitar. At the same time a name change was made to Wormlight, as well as changes in lyrical themes. On their EP Blood elds, Wormlight gave its listeners a glimpse of what to expect from the northern warriors,on they returning now on 2018 with their new album, Wrath Of The Wilds set for worldwide release 2018.

The highly anticipated 2nd full-length by this Russian band. Hailing from Nizhny Novgorod and formed in February 2013, Wombripper have ever since leaned towards the Swedish school of Death Metal with raw, crunchy buzzsaw guitars and straightforward compositions. Highly influenced by Grave, Entombed and Dismember, their first demo, "Morbid Aberrations", was recorded and released in 2014, and the band shared the stage with some of the genre's milestones such as Necrophobic, Nominon and Fleshcrawl, and also newer underground acts such as Undergang, Nocturnal Witch, etc. After several lineup changes, the 4-track EP "Infected Tomb" was recorded and self-released by the band in 2017. That same year, Wombripper recorded their debut album, "From the Depths of Flesh", which was released in 2018 by different labels, such as Redefining Darkness Records (U.S.A.) and Grotesque Sounds (Russia). "From the Depths of Flesh" gained them lots of positive feedback from the media and old school Death Metal fans alike, as the album displayed some top-notch Swedeath, an aural massacre featuring plenty of catchy and morbid melodies, blazing solos and blasting devastation. Now scaled back to a 3-piece, Wombripper put the power in power-trio with their crushing second album, "Macabre Melodies". Ever aptly titled, "Macabre Melodies" is both macabre to the max as well as melodic -in a most macabre manner! Wombripper are nothing if not maniacs devoted to pure 90's Death Metal, and that vintage aspect rings proud and true here, adding to (but never subtracting from) the iron-clad foundation laid down by Dismember back then, keeping the guitars gutsfucking and incredibly tuneful, with hummable tunes you simply won't be able to get out of your head. But lest anyone linger under the assumption that "melodic" equates to some weakening aspect, fuck right off here: Wombripper are not named that for no reason, and "Macabre Melodies" encapsulates and then eclipses their no-less-righteous prior recordings, making for the band's apex to date and all without sacrificing an ounce of crush or credibility. With The End In Mind is an ever-changing musical entity based in the Salish Sea region of the Pacific Northwest. Initially conceived as a solo project, WTEIM has grown over the years to include many unique and talented collaborators. Harnessing the primal power of black metal, as well as elements of dark folk, drone/ambient, and classic psychedelia, With The End In Mind is dedicated to the sonic exploration of these supposed end times, and all the possibilities for new ways of Being that will rise from the ashes. This project will always be strongly inspired by those who fight against the shackles of oppression, for the sake of Wildness and freedom. Tides Of Fire, the second full length album from the project, is a charred elegy for a world careening off of the precipice. The seeds of these songs were sifted from the ashes of smoldering landscapes, as vast swathes of the West Coast of North America burned. This work is an exploration of internal and external purging; all the suffering, fear, and anxiety that the titanic forces of Nature exert over our lives, and the hidden light that can be found within when it seems that all is lost. It is a journey of death, renewal and the resilience of the human Spirit. A significant sonic departure from previous releases, Tides Of Fire is propelled by a dense, aggressively percussive core. Two full drum kits, auxiliary percussion, and layers of guitars are utilized to create an utterly unique and intense experience. Gripping spoken word, intricate folk melodies, and murky psychedelic passages also find their way to the surface when the metallic fury subsides. This is a work that simply overflows with raw emotion; helpless rage, deep love, and awe-filled reverence.

“The Heavens Are Not On Fire...is the debut album from Wills Dissolve, a progressive death metal band from Houston, TX. Equally atmospheric and aggressive, this album weaves its concept (“a meditation on religion, violence, and cosmic chaos”) through seamless, satisfying transitions between ambient and bold passages. Led by masterfully executed drum grooves and finished with blazing, melodic leads and crushing vocals, Heavens… is progressive, but never wandering. Although one can certainly recognize influences both named by the band (Opeth, Katatonia, Ihsahn) and surprising (Rotting Christ, In Vain, Kozeljnik, November’s Doom), nothing about this spectacular debut is derivative. The production is clean and balanced, perfectly restrained, allowing each element to shine through organically. The Heavens Are Not On Fire… transports the listener to The Great Meteor Storm of 1833, an event erroneously interpreted by North American Christians as the biblical apocalypse and later recognized as the beginning of a critical shift towards a secular understanding of celestial phenomena.
