Italian doom/death band Assumption made a great impact in doom/death scene with their 1st full-length album "Absconditus" released in 2018. Their 1st demo originaly released in 2012 is re-issued as digisleeve-CD format now! As you may guess from their logo, their main influence is mighty diSEMBOWELMENT without doubt. There are also Pink-FLoyd-esque psychedelic elements in their music. At this time, they used not only deep low growl but also Pestilence/Obituary style hysteric vocal. Compared to their latter stuffs, the songs are much more death metal. Anyway, this is the 1st page of the history of this Italian doom/death band! Re-release of 2012 demo by Weird Truth Productions. Digisleeve edition limited to 500 copies.

French doom/death Ataraxie's 10th anniversary album. This album contains re-arranged and re-recorded version of "The Other Path" demo, 2 exclusive tracks and live tracks recorded at "les festins sonores" festival in May 2008. On "Unholy Prayer", Ende from Fatum Elisum is featured as guest vocal. All tracks(except live tracks) recorded by guitar player Fred and Julien Bous(Postghost recordings). Mixing and mastering was done by Raphael Henry at Echoes Studio.

1st album of French doom/death originally released in 2005. It has been out of print for a long time, but after a decade from its original release, it's reissued as a digi-CD with bonus track(the cover of diSEMBOWELMENT's The Tree of Life And Death). This bonus track is the first official studio recording with 3 guitars lineup. In short, their music is doom/death. They combines crushing heavy doomed riffs and intense blast beats, in addition there are a lot of catchy emotional melodies. Their agony is slowly transcending the ages and the earth will be doomed again! Released in a pressing of 1000 copies. Re-release, comes in digipak. Mixed and mastered at New Retro Sound studio in April 2015.

Japanese ambient/industrial doom Begrabnis VS Australian avantgarde schizophrenic funeral doom Estrangement. Begrabnis started as 4 piece doom band with real drummer. After their drummer left in 2012, they started to use drum machine and add some ambient/industrial elements and thelmin, which makes their music much more unique one. Their vocalist is female, but don't expect ethereal beautiful clean one. It's extremely horrific dark voices which reminds me of witch's curse. Estrangement is one of the most unique band under the banner of “Funeral Doom”. They mix a lof of elements, classical music with violin, cello, flute, piano and classical guitar, furious black/thrash metal riffs, and of course slow dismal doom! The scene is changing rapidly which is really schizophrenic! Both bands expand the horizon of the land of doom and it's time to conquer new frontier!

Following the path of their previous melodic and tranquil slow doom album "dense fog”, they added various experimentations into their song writing - for example, one of the songs is written in "Rondo" format traditionally used on classical composition. These new attempts have made their music become much more dramatic and complex. Tremendous agony in which we suffer on our transient mortal life; feeling of loss, endless sorrow, sense of emptiness and remorse. This album is dedicated to the voiceless dead who had returned to the tranquil ocean with mortal agony.
