Through the Eyes of Ophelia is Kalevala's seventh full-length album. As always, the flagships of Russian folk metal surprise with a new release. The band's corporate identity and Ksenia Markevich's unique vocals are once again revealed in her new work. The album includes 12 tracks: two of them are features with the bands Skolot (folk rock) and ArktidA (symphonic metal), teams that have long established themselves as top performers in their genres. Melodic and driving parts, vivid lyrics and a beautiful rich sound are the description of Kalevala's new work. There is everything here: lyrical ballads, folk epic compositions, carbon monoxide heavy metal action movies, and of course, Kalevala's recognizable musical style, unique from the very beginning of the band's creative life.
