The fourth full-length album from Russian heavyweights in funeral doom death metal, convincingly showcasing the peak of the musicians' craftsmanship. The album continues the path of complicating the musical structure, which now incorporates powerful keyboards and trombone parts. There is also a further complexity in the structure of the lyrics, which unites all the compositions of the album into a single conceptual narrative. This confessional canvas presents the inner world of a hero who once succumbed to pride, having gone through internal catastrophes on a path washed by tears. The artwork, complementing the musical and lyrical components, is created by the artist Matvey Bobkov. The recording and mixing were done by Alexey Kostovitsky, with mastering by Evgeny Semyonov (Intaglio, When Nothing Remains, Mesmur, etc.).

Originally released by Defiled Records in 1998, "Evanescent, Everfading" was the debut album of Finland based act Fall Of The Leafe. During the first years since their inception in 1996, FotL found their own way of playing black/death metal with folk influences based on guitarist Jussi Hänninen harmonies and Jani Lindström vocals. The band entered legendary Tico-Tico studios in 1997 to record their first full length and from the Maidenesque opener "The Celestial Keeper" to the closing "Evanescent, Everfading", FotL delivers a 40 minutes unique masterclass of melodic death metal with black feels to take the listener on a journey to enjoy the sweet taste of 90s. Did you say Amorphis or Insomnium? It would be fair saying Fotl set the stage for them. The band took new musical directions with their sophomore album but "Evanescent, Everfading" proudly stands as one of the most unique creations of late 90s metal in Finland and Jussi started Autumnfall in 2019 to continue FotL early works legacy.

Originally formed in Madrid in 2007 as a new project from members of the seasoned bands Glow, Autumnal and Adrift, the band quickly developed their own identity and gained popularity, leading to their 2009 debut album "The Call of Shiva" being chosen as the best unsigned record by the readers of Terrorizer magazine. Gaining momentum with their next two full-lengths (2011's "Decline... Towers of Silence" and "Avesta" -2017-, as well as the EP "Deadly Lake" in 2014), the band increased their live activity, including an European tour with the blackened crust punks Khmer and support shows for diverse renowned artists like Godflesh, Baroness, Forgotten Tomb or Altar of Plagues, as well as celebrated sets at big festivals like Madrid is the Dark, Resurrection Fest, Doom Over Paris or Bracara Extreme Fest. On this new album the band pursues a more straightforward approach, with heavier shorter songs that still show the band's peculiar blend of sludge, different styles of doom and atmospheric metal, with massive wall breaking riffs, mesmerizing ambient passages and frontman and guitarist Juan Viguera's unique and emotive voice. The record’s lyrical concept revolves around the idea of becoming one with the cosmos after respecting Mother Nature’s creation, when we become dust from that dark star after trying to live a right and respectful life towards all other sentient beings. The impressive cover artwork has been created by Robert Hernández, one of the most prestigious tattoo artists in the world and the stellar production is courtesy of the band's longtime collaborator Carlos Santos (Wormed, Toundra) and Víctor García's (Adrift, Boneflower) crushing mastering. "Dust From a Dark Sun" is a fresh-sounding record that avoids pigeonholed stereotypes and will resonate with listeners who yearn for a sincere and moving experience from one of Spain’s most personal heavy acts. И пусть вас не удивляет подозрительное сходство песни Mechanix с металликовской "The Four Horsemen" - просто авторы (Hetfield/Mustaine) так и не поделили ее на две группы, благодаря чему теперь, 20 лет спустя, мы можем делать осторожные догадки, что бы было с Metallica, если бы мистер Mustaine пил тогда чуть меньше... Structure is a project created in 2021 by former Officium Triste and The 11th Hour guitarist Bram Bijlhout. After some years of inactivity it was time to start writing again and bring heavy yet melodic doom death metal. The self titled EP “Structure” is the result of that, with music written, performed, recorded and mixed by Bram Bijlhout completed by the great vocals of Pim Blankenstein (Officium Triste). The debut EP was first released on tape only by Brutal Insanity Records and now a remastered version for streaming services and CD has been performed by Greg Chandler.

GUS G. (Konstantinos Karamitroudis) - гитарист и один из основателей греческих power-металлистов FIREWIND. 2022 reissue by Ardua Music as six panel digipack limited to 300 copies. Choosing the term "depressive dark rock" to describe themselves doesn't do Counting Hours enough justice as the debut album from this Finnish five-piece not only links their sound to game-changing acts such as Katatonia, Paradise Lost and October Tide but succeeds on evoking the lost feeling of the 90s dark and gothic music scene, mainly because part of what you get to hear on their fresh and intriguing 2018 demo was written during that era, embodying the original atmosphere and vulnerability only a band from those times could materialize. Jarno Salomaa (guitars) comments on the debut full-length: «When we first started with Counting Hours, I basically went to our rehearsal room with Ilpo and had some beers along to record some vocals on the demo stuff I had made. Basically, nothing else besides creating music from the grounds I had made for Rapture back in early 2000. But anyway... Beer, good ideas (or damn bad ones) with a touch of Finnish-sweet melancholy combined with depressive music did hit us at last. After a while rehearsing and just a couple of shows, there was this very clear vision of continuing this path.» Now, and in order to successfully explore this territory, Counting Hours have tightened the screws with the aid of Jussi Hämäläinen (Hanging Garden, The Chant, Mercury Circle), who handled production and mixing duties, and Jaime Gomez Arellano, who took care of the mastering process, to offer in their debut album "The Will" a truly exciting combination of varying elements brimming with dark-stained riffs and the melancholic yet powerful vocals of The Chant's Ilpo Paasela.
