THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER - неугомонные и оголтелые дэт-металлисты из Мичигана, собравшиеся в 2001 году. После небольшой смены состава (новый басист Max Lavelle (ex-DESPISED ICON) и барабанщик Alan Cassidy (ex-ABIGAIL WILLIAMS)) и записи альбома "Everblack" (2013), TBDM провели большую часть времени в турах, оттачивая программу и параллельно сочиняя свежий материал. Новые участники превосходно влились в коллектив и привнесли собственных "фишечек", придав звучанию TBDM запредельную экстремальность. В 2015-ом выходит седьмой альбом TBDM "Abysmal", а место гитариста Ryan'a Knight'a (ex-ARSIS) занимает Brandon Ellis (ARSIS, CANNABIS CORPSE). Восьмым альбомом группы стал "Nightbringers" (2017). "Verminous" – девятый полноформатный альбом THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, вышедший 17-го апреля 2020-го на Metal Blade Records. Обложкой для "Verminous" занимался Juanjo Castellano, имевший дело с альбомами AVULSED, BODYFARM, PAGANIZER и многих других. Сведением "Verminous" занимался небезызвестный Tue Madsen (работавший с ABORTED, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, KATAKLYSM), мастерингом - Alan Douches (ALL OUT WAR, HATE ETERNAL, DEATH).
