A YOUNG MAN'S FUNERAL - проект A.S. (Алексея Славина - все инструменты, музыка). "Thanatic Unlife" - это второй полноформатный релиз проекта. На первом лонгплее в качестве вокалиста выступил голландец André de Heus (Serenity Forgotten, Nymphea Aurora). В этот раз A.S. пригласил исполнить вокальные партии E.S., своего коллегу по WHO DIES IN SIBERIAN SLUSH - лидера и основателя WDISS. "Thanatic" - редко используемое прилагательное, от греческого слова "thanatos" -"смерть", а также имени демона, являющегося олицетворением смерти. Слово "unlife" по контексту - не смерть, но смертеподобная жизнь. В музыкальном плане эта работа - дань ретро-фьюнерал думу. Винтажный саунд, риффы в духе THERGOTHON, классические funeral-doom-вокальные линии. С точки зрения идеи и текстов "Thanatic Unlife" - концептуальный альбом, ведущий повествование от частного к общему, от локального примера человеческого паразитизма до возможного результата в масштабах галактики. В написании текстов на этом альбоме приняли участие: B. - басист/вокалист новосибирской funeral-doom группы STATION DYSTHYMIA; Stigmatheist - мастермайнд канадского funeral-doom проекта EGO DEPTHS; так же данный альбом стал дебютом в качестве автора текста для известного российского doom-блоггера Lightbinger'a. Оформление альбома подготовил московский художник Матвей Whichfinder Бобков, известный по работам с WHO DIES IN SIBERIAN SLUSH. Первый трек альбома "CURSE" - реальная история небольшого уральского города, возникшего на месте древнего поселения, где были открыты золотоносные россыпи. Вскоре здесь начали добывать и медь, был построен первый медеплавильный завод. После нескольких десятилетий добычи медной руды и выплавки меди, город стал зоной чрезвычайной экологической ситуации. За 100 лет существования медеплавильный комбинат, никогда не имевший очистных сооружений, выжег и засыпал шлаком огромную территорию вокруг себя. После переработки породы остаются тысячи тонн отбросов, их сваливают недалеко от завода. Терриконы переработанной породы высятся на десятки метров. И сегодня комбинат выбрасывает в атмосферу более сотни тонн ядовитых газов в год. Производные свинца, серы, мышьяка и меди выпадают на прилегающую территорию в виде кислотных дождей, от которых гибнет вся растительность. В местной реке уровень содержания железа в 500 раз превышает допустимую норму. На расстоянии 100 метров от берегов ничего не растет. У жителей города множество генетических и приобретенных заболеваний: раковые опухоли, экзема, дефекты внутриутробного развития, слабоумие, церебральный паралич. Второй трек "REMORSE" повествует о паразитической сущности человеческого существа и человечества в целом. Расплодившись, создав языки, машины и искусственный интеллект, люди почувствовали себя хозяевами на Земле. Ведомые своим разумом, будучи узниками времени и плоти, люди создали хаотичный и дисгармоничный мир. Превратили прекрасную планету в ад, вырваться из которого нет никакой возможности. Текст третьего трека "SALVATION" - это взгляд на отдельно взятую планету, пережившую экологическую катастрофу. С неба ливнем льет дождь из расплавленных камней, на поверхности мирно бурлят океаны лавы, которым безмолвно вторят погруженные во мрак льды бескрайней пустыни. Добро пожаловать в Ад. Этот страшный мир находится слишком близко к своей звезде и всегда повернут к ней одной стороной, в результате чего планета разделена на два совершенно непохожих друг на друга мира: в одном бурлят океаны лавы, а другая, обделенная вниманием своего Солнца, погружена во мрак и закована во льды..."

After the stunning full-lenght debut “Fulgures” (ATMF, 2007), the acclaimed, progressive and deep followup “Vega” (ATMF, 2008) and two compilations (“Black Metal Invitta Armata”, 2009, and “Önd - A Tribute to Enslaved”, 2012) italian act JANVS (or Janus, if you write it low case) is back with a new deal on Avantgarde Music. Being in the band’s mind for a long time, the re-recording of the 2004 demo “Nigredo” is a step in a new musical direction, yet deeply rooted in what made Janus such an interesting project. Fully re-recorded by the complete lineup (Matteo Barelli, Claudio Fogliato and Massimo “M:A: Fog” Altomare) and rearranged to match the evolution of the last ten years, “Nigredo” is a haunting and dark shaded trip back in the first stage of a growing awareness. The four original tracks from the 2004 demo are rebuilt from scratch paying great attention to the sounds and landscapes evocated by the rewritten lyrics. Custom made guitar and bass effects wrap their unique sound around the italian lyrics of “Imperium”, “Abisso”, “Rovina” and “Suicidio”. You will follow them surrounded by the original drawings and artwork by Francesco Gemelli (that already painted for JANVS on the previous “Vega” booklet). “Nigredo” features Ivar Bjørnson from Enslaved as guest guitarist on our “793” cover, and Palingenius (Gladio) as guest vocals on “Imperium”.

Основанная в 2003 году Vorog’ом (гитара/ вокал), Getman Azach’ом (клавиши/ бэк-вокал) и Mizgir’ом (басс) израильская sympho black metal группа Dagor Dagorath из города Хайфа представляет вниманию слушателей свой новый и второй полноформатный альбом Dissident. Dagor Dagorath или Последняя битва в конце времен, о которой повествует Сильмариллион, и в ходе которой олицетворение Тьмы - Мелькор вырывается на свободу и возвращается в мир, именно такое название дали группе ее три основателя и бессменных участника. (Кстати, все представители группы так сказать “рожденные в СССР”, так как весь нынешний состав вышел родом из различных городов Украины - Киева, Харькова, Керчи). С начала группа записала демо-ленту "Times of Distress" в 2005 году, затем альбом "Yetzer Ha"Ra" («Злое Начало» с иврита), который вышел в 2009 году на CD на российском металл лэйбле More Hate Productions. В сентябре 2012 году, после относительно долгого молчания, перемежавшегося не многочисленными концертами, и написанием нового материала, группа приступила к записи на студии Eli Pickover в Тель-Авиве своего второго полноформатного альбома "Dissident". 9 песен альбома были записаны и сведены на студии в конце 2012 года. В 2013 году Maor Apellbaum, работавший ранее над мастерингом альбомов таких корифеев металла как Sepultura, Angra, Halford сделал мастеринг альбома "Dissident" и группа приступила к поиску выпускающего лэйбла. И вот теперь, благодаря титаническим стараниям выпускающих лэйблов - ФОНО LTD. и More Hate Productions, альбом стал доступен и для широкой аудитории российских слушателей! Новый альбом Dissident отличается от своего предшественника прежде всего дальнейшим развитием всей музыкальной составляющей, а именно, значительно и заметно усложнилась структура композиций, они приобрели еще более многогранный и многослойных характер и, что самое главное, у группы сформировался свой собственный узнаваемый стиль и лицо в жанре progressive sympho black metal. Да, музыка по прежнему брутальна, колюча и злобна, но при этом прибавилась некая узнаваемая и характерная изюминка в звучании и упрекнуть группу в том, что она похожа на Dimmu Borgir или Cradle of Filth уже теперь точно нельзя. Текстовая часть альбома также носит концептуальный характер, альбом в целом посвящен всем жертвам тоталитарно-административной системы СССР, описывает путь по которому прошли многие советские диссиденты в их личной борьбе с коммунистическим режимом, состояние противостояния личности и государства вообще и степень того, насколько далеко государство может зайти в своем стремлении навязать Обществу те или иные ценности и порядки. Оформление альбома также расскрывает эту тему, буклет выполнен в виде некоего уголовного дела, заведенного органами КГБ на одного из диссидентов. Оформление альбома выполнил бассист группы Mizgir. В общем, диск точно можно порекомендовать очень широкой публик любителей экстремального металла: и тем кто любит злую музыку с интересными мелодиями, чумовой энергией, зубодроблением, жесткостью в звуке, а это довольно мощно представлено на альбоме и тем, кто является сторонником более рафинированного и разнообразного звучания, сложного и прогрессивного одновременно и не плюется от "нетрушности" симфонического израильского "black" metal бэнда!

Their vocalist is female, but don't expect ethereal beautiful clean one. It's extremely horrific dark voices which reminds me of witch's curse. The album’s name has a few meanings and storylines. Actually Martian dust in black magic is the dust from cemetery, the ground from graves, dust from skeletons that was collected in a certain time by impact of Mars planet. This substance is one of the most of dangerous, more energetic powerful and using for most dark rituals. According to that the album has a mystic mood and astral symbolic, decadence spirit and gothic esthetic. Despite on a short time of sounding cd is conceptual and logically finished. Work has some keys images. First – male, image of a black magician, which was embodied in charismatic personality of Alister Crowley. Second – female image, that was appeared during the work process and it became more bright. Appearance of the second female image counterbalanced the album and gave it more secrets and romantics, added more feelings, tenderness, that made an influence in cd’s cower design. Firstly, four tracks from the album were recorded on 7 inch vinyl by Italian label in August 2014. But Russian customs didn’t skip the circulation and album wasn’t available in sell. So we added some tracks in it and came it out on Heimdall Records in CD format in 2015.

Premarone was born in 2010 on the initiative of four friends who decided to give the band the name of the place in which they meet to rehearse, a tiny hillside village in North Italy. Starting from doom metal, psychedelic and progressive/kraut influences, the sound of the group prefers dark, obsessive and hallucinated atmospheres, but is also characterized by an aggressive attitude. After the recording of a self-produced four track demo, in 2015 Nicotine Records proposes to Premarone the publishing of an album, thus "Obscuris Vera Involvens" is born. The following year the band starts working on the new album, a disquieting concept called "Das Volk der Freiheit".

In our endless quest to push and support current underground acts that perpetuate the odor of vintage Death Metal, Memento Mori summons yet another ponderous beast from the crypts and unleashes it upon mankind: the debut album of Poland's Martyrdoom, "Grievous Psychosis". Conceived in Warsaw back in 2010, the band went through some lineup changes until they established a solid formation in 2014, including Sociak (vocals), Marol (guitar), Młynar (guitar / vocals), Artz (bass) and Wasyl (drums). Blending complex, blast-beat driven, darkened Death Metal with slow Doom passages, the band draws its main influences from the likes of Obituary, Immolation, Rippikoulu, Autopsy, Demilich, Triptykon, Cannibal Corpse, Incantation, Hooded Menace, Grave, Disma and Dead Congregation, but they spew all those influences out with renewed vigor. As far as non-musical inspirations go, their lyrics mostly revolve about old school horror/gore movies, personal struggles and the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Bloodthirsty and dripping with menace, these Poles armed with a thorough knowledge of ancient Death Metal create something vile and unearthly. Eschewing all trends, Martyrdoom trudge defiantly, blasting their noxious blend of Death Metal and Doom Metal music, urging cohorts to surrender to them at once. Eight tracks of visceral mayhem are channelled through what sounds like cavernous labyrinths and are as unrelenting as they are haunting.
