As the band states: Forlesen's "Hierophant Violent" is an immersive, lush, psychedelic blend of dark ambient, epic doom, slowcore and shadowy black metal. It was conceived during a time of immense personal loss and emerged as something both beautiful and terrifying to us. We hope it will give the same feelings of shadow exploration to our Listeners. Featuring members of Lotus Thief, Botanist, and Kayo Dot among others, “Hierophant Violent” is a brilliant debut from a cadre of musicians already in top form who have lent their efforts to a new vision. Appropriately transfixing artwork by Benjamin A. Vierling (Aosoth, The Ajna Offensive, Joanna Newsom) will adorn this album, which will be presented as a 6 panel digipack. The album was engineered, mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker, Mamaleek) at the Atomic Garden with additional recording by Forlesen.

For the first time ever on CD format, here comes an official reissue of the obscure and solitary demo of the old Spanish band Fossor, originally released on tape back in 1994. Fossor first burst into the Spanish underground Death Metal scene back in August 1993, in the small northern town of Logroño. It came into being as a spin-off from the first two Aposento line-ups, another legendary then Spanish band and local pioneers of the genre. Their music approach was logically rooted in the soundings of the genuine and still effervescing international Death Metal scene, taking their cues from the ancient Florida sound (Obituary, Massacre and most specifically "Leprosy" and "Spiritual Healing" era Death) and the European tradition of bands such as Benediction, Entombed, Asphyx, Grave and Gorefest. Despite the lack of a proper distribution and promotion, "Emerging from the Abyss" would end up gaining some recognition within the underground domestic ranks and also positive reviews in places remote as Asia and other European countries, including the insertion of the song "The Bastard Son of God" on the 1995 compilation "Sometimes... Death is Better II" put out by the Belgian label Shiver Records. A truly unmissable gem of the 90's underground and happily exhumed at last, this very special reissue of "Emerging from the Abyss" was mastered by Dan Lowndes (of Cruciamentum fame) at his own Resonance Sound Studio in the U.K., and features brand new artwork by Raul Fuentes (a.k.a. Mortuus) as well as a fully detailed bio-interview conducted and compiled by David Bleak (Bleak 'zine).

Emotions and messages conveyed by Fretting Obscurity are based on philosophical existentialism and the works of Jean-Paul Sartre. The title of the project speaks of fundamental unknowableness and hostility of the physical realm. The image used in the title of the album - flags in the dust - was borrowed from William Faulkner. It is a symbol of formally announced ethical values that are not observed in practice in the era of bigotry, consumption and torpor. As for the music itself, the style of the project was shaped by a 'three-guitar canon' as represented by Mournful Congregation and tends towards the use of multiple layers with occasional heavy passages and doom-death riffs.

Solitude Productions proudly presents the re-release of the "In Fields Of Pestilent Grief" album by the cult band Funeral, which was originally released in 2001 with a limited number of copies by the label which does not exist anymore. The copies of the album were quickly sold out, and currently have become a rarity. On this album, the band tried the stylistics different from that for the debut album, which featured funeral doom metal: although the leading clean female vocals remained, the music began to tend to doom death metal. However, it is worth mentioning that Funeral remained one of the distinctive and unique bands in the genre. Two previously unreleased tracks, demo records for the album, with other arrangements and male vocals come as a bonus tracks in this re-release. The album is issued as a noble six-panel digipack.
