For quite some time guitarist Jarno Salomaa (Shape Of Despair, ex-Rapture) and vocalist Ilpo Paasela (The Chant) had spoken about putting together a band that would reflect the vulnerability and the certain atmosphere of the 90's. Such groups as early Katatonia, Paradise Lost and October Tide had made all-ghanging impact on both in their youth. Finally, in early 2015 the line-up was completed with Tomi Ullgren (Shape of Despair, Impaled Nazarene) on guitars, Sameli Köykkä (ex-Colosseum) on drums and Markus Forsström (The Chant) on bass. Counting Hours was born. The main thing was that all had similar thoughts on what kind of feelings and views the music can arouse. The first and so far only demo was recorded in summer/autumn 2016. Part of the material Jarno had written already in the late 90's before parting ways with Rapture and the other part came alive later. The untitled demo cd sold out fast but chance to re-release it on vinyl came in 2018. The official release will be on September through The Vinyl Division. The road to perdition will also go on as there's new material coming. Exit all false! This 2018 vinyl version includes an extended version of "Buried In The White" plus a new mix and master dedicated for vinyl. Limited to 200 copies on single black vinyl with printed inner sleeve. 45 RPM

Born from an idea by guitarist -viNd- during a hiatus in his other bands (Manes and Atrox), a group of comrades that he knew had the live and studio experience needed to get this group off its feet were recruited, and thus Drontheim was established. Drontheim plays music on the edge between post-rock and alternative metal, infused with large amounts of atmospheric and cinematic passages. Sometimes distorted and strict, and other times dark and emotional. Members of Drontheim is, or has been involved with bands like Manes, Atrox, Khonsu, Bloodthorn and more. Thematically Drontheim is rooted in an alternative reality regarding World War II, and the many “what if’s” in relation to the outcome of the war. The band is strictly non-political with no collective agenda on any level except the artistic, but the inspiration grew from a strong interest in WWII in general, and more specifically the German vision for Neu Drontheim - New Trondheim - as the new capital for the Germanized Scandinavia. “Down below” is their debut album after a handful of earlier digital singles and music videos, presented on single vinyl and printed inner sleeve plus poster. As an active live band, they have a tour lined up for early 2019 in support of the album. Limited to 200 copies on black vinyl

Spanish masters of atmospheric doom death metal EVADNE are back with a new full-length album that marks a milestone in their musical activity. This is the most elaborate work of the band to date, with many emotions engrained. EVADNE's music has become even deeper and more sophisticated and, despite its genre; it exists out of time, combining the heaviness of metal and the transparency of symphony. It has everything to express emotions. And night falls here, and in the depths of shadows the pale glow of fireflies is born. Carlin van Ross (Remembrance, Lethian Dreams, Aythis) and Jaani Peuhu (Iconcrash, worked with Before The Dawn, Swallow The Sun, To / Die / For, Thunderstone, etc.) took part in the album recording. Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein, Entombed, Candlemass, 69 Eyes, etc.) from Chartmakers West studio was in charge of the sound on the album, and it is truly amazing! The album comes as a four-panel digipack with a twelve-page booklet. TodoMal (translates as “all evil” or “all wrong”) came to life in the year zero of our era, 2020, as the brain child of Wildman and Mile, two veteran multi-instrumentalists of the Spanish underground (and not only) metal scene, whose extensive background goes back to a myriad of projects of multiple styles. TodoMal is the product of serendipity, a personal combination of the solemnity of traditional doom metal with the profusion of space-rock. TodoMal's backdrop is the vast, placid and depressing desolate wasteland of the north of the Alcarria region, in the so-called "uninhabited rural Spain''. It evokes a place halfway between the Mancha of Don Quixote, the film Los Santos Inocentes, the realism of the Generation of '98, the ecclesiastical baroque, films such as Buñuel's Simon of the Desert, etc. Imagine Candlemass and Pink Floyd having a drunken brawl over some cheap wine and then writing an album to make amends... The result could well be 'Ultracrepidarian', the first work of TodoMal, a 38-minute journey made up of seven hypnotic tracks full of contrasts and surprises, a mix of gloomy decadence and forceful riffs plagued by exciting and epic passages of enveloping keyboards. 'Ultracrepidarian’ crosses the dark sea of doom metal’s orthodoxy to enter an oceanic chasm of as-yet unknown dimensions. Mastered by Greg Chandler at Priory Recording Studios, Summer 2021.
