В дискографии BONFIRE пятнадцать студийных альбомов, шесть концертников и столько же компиляций, ряд синглов, концертных DVD и бокс-сет, также у музыкантов много своих сольных проектов. "Fistful Of Fire" - шестнадцатый полноформатный альбом немцев, вышедший 3-го апреля 2020-го на AFM Records. Вся работа над альбомом велась в немецкой студии Flatliners Studios под руководством Tom Müller'а, работавшего с альбомами групп ALAN PARSONS, DOWNSPIRIT, LAKE OF TEARS, а также над предыдущими полноформатниками BONFIRE. Обложку к "Fistful of Fire" нарисовал Kai Swillus, работавший с SAXON, HERMAN FRANK и MOTÖRHEAD.

Первоначально коллектив существовал под названием SATANICA, но уже спустя год сменил его на ASSASSIN (вплоть до распада в 1989-ом году, когда все инструменты и аппаратура группы были украдены). Какое-то время музыканты пытались вновь собраться, но окончательный реюнион ASSASSIN состоялся в 2002-ом году. В дискографии группы несколько демозаписей, один DVD и пять полноформатных альбомов. "Bestia Immundis" - шестой полноформатный альбом ASSASSIN, вышедший 7-го февраля 2020-го на лэйбле Massacre Records. Записью и сведением занимался гитарист CALIBAN Marc Görtz на собственной студии Nemesis Studios, работавший с KREATOR, NASTY а также над предыдущим полноформатником ASSASSIN "Combat Cathedral" (2016). Название 1349 - отсылка к дате, когда Норвегию поразила эпидемия чумы ("черной смерти"), прокатившейся по Азии, Европе и Северной Африке в середине XIV века. Чума была занесена к норвежцам на одном из английских кораблей, вёзших для продажи груз шерсти. В дискографии 1349 несколько EP и синглов, пара дэмо-записей и семь полноформатных альбомов. "Demonoir" - пятый полноформатный альбом 1349, вышедший 26-го апреля 2010-го на лэйбле Indie Recordings. Запись альбома проходила в норвежской студии Studio Studio Nyhagen, где также записывались MAYHEM, DARKTHRONE и ENSLAVED. The fourth full-length album of the Belgian quintet Marche Funèbre entitled "Einderlicht", which is translated as "light at the end", combines all traditional elements known from the previous works of the group: death, black and doom metal fused in a unique mixture with strong melodies and wide range vocals.
Thematically, "Einderlicht" focuses on the strange ability of humanity to consciously decide to commit suicide.
Accounting for their previous experience, which has borne good results, the musicians decided to again ask to perform recording Markus Stock, known for his cult bands and participation in the recording of Empyrium, Vision Bleak, Alcest, Secrets Of The Moon and many others. Brooke Schaden has created another magical cover art for this piece, like for all other Marche Funèbre's full-length albums. The album comes as a digipak with a twelve-page booklet, and includes an exclusive bonus track "Gone".

Flukt perform harsh and cold Norwegian Black Metal. The music has clear reference to the oldschool Black Metal sound made infamous by the Norwegian Black Metal scene in the early 90s. Even when the music is fast, and harsh. Flukt is never afraid to mellow things down in slower passages and more groove oriented songs. FLUKT is a raw oldschool Black Metal band hailing from Vennesla, Norway. The band was launshed during the fall of 2014 but from the dark mood and the aggression in the music, every metalhead will get a flashback to the good old days of Norwegian Black Metal in the 90s. Their debut Ep «Holocaust» was released through SkyBurnsBlack Records in the winter of 2015. Late november 2017 the seven inch vinyl single «Fortapelse» was released by NordicMission Production. Nearly a year in the making, and including a cast of 30 musicians, J.R. Robinson delivers his towering third album as Wrekmeister Harmonies entitled Night of Your Ascension. As with previous Wrekmeister albums, the ensemble is made up of an all-star cast of musicians from the metal, new music and rock communities. Musicians include Lee Buford and Chip King from The Body, Alexander Hacke (Einsturzende Neubauten), Cooper Crain (Cave), Marissa Nadler, Mary Lattimore, Olivia Block, Eric Chaleff (Bloodiest), Dylan O’Toole and Ron DeFries of Indian, Bruce Lamont, Sanford Parker (Twilight), Mark Solotroff (Anatomy of Habit), Solomon Lee Walker, Chris Brokaw (Come), and Jaime Fennelly (Mind Over Mirrors). Robinson has long been fascinated with those whose habits or actions have set them beyond the reach of redemption. Through his video art and his music, Robinson continues to explore humanity’s darkest impulses and society’s response to them. The death of Father John Goeghan and the life of Don Carlo Gesualdo were starting points for the two compositions on his new album. The title track, “Night of Your Ascension,” was as much influenced by Don Carlo Gesualdo’s horrific act as it was by the extreme nature of his compositions. There are many that have been inspired by Gesualdo’s imaginative and complex works, from Herzog’s “Death for Five Voices,” to Igor Stravinsky who created “Monumentum pro Gesualdo.” All were perhaps drawn to the unanswerable question whether or not the violence of his life was related to the violence of his music. Robinson, while intrigued by that question, focuses on evoking the extreme nature of Gesualdo’s act while using the man’s music as a vehicle. The resulting composition is compelling, and the hopes are that we ask why such horror is so captivating to the collective mindset. “Night of Your Ascension” is built around a reworking of Gesualdo’s madrigal “Ahi Dispietata e Cruda.” Intrigued by its microtonal qualities,” Robinson re-structured the madrigal so that it could fit modally into the key of A and to extend into the rest of the composition. This includes a haunting and lovely feminine presence voiced by Marissa Nadler, a presence Robinson fades into the ether with a complex arrangement of strings and choral voices before the impending doom renders all hope obsolete. This essentially becomes both a re-imaging of Gesulado’s complex musical work and the re-enactment of the famous murder.

The Sunset Forsaken project was established in Donetsk in 2014 by musician Andrey Tolok as an alternative to his black metal project Haissem, since the music he composed did not fit into the frames of a single project.
The second full-length album, "85 Nerves", is finally released on CD by Solitude Productions.
Lyrically, the album consists of four completely different narrative stories. "Dulcet Amnesia" tells the story of a man who has lost his memories and, at the same time, found an incomprehensible calm, for whom loneliness became an anesthesia that split him from the rest of the world. “Through The Moon I've Seen The Sorrow Born” brings into the story of a man who, looking at the Moon, sees his life, which is divided into two periods: “before” and “after”. "The Ebony Chasm Of Despair" tells how a person, while falling into a bottomless abyss, observes what happened to our civilization throughout its existence. The final title track "85 Nerves" sheds light on the story of a woman, who was trapped within her dreams ...
Musically, "85 Nerves" is a classic dark metal with a doom / death influence, with typical genre features, such as melodic solos throughout the composition, growl as the main vocal, and viscous riffing.
The album is released as a 6-panel limited edition digipack.

Recorded from March until September 2015, the album consists of 10 tracks in classic Heavy/Power Metal style. Drums were recorded in the renowned Hertz Studio, which works with world's leading Metal bands (Vader, Behemoth, Decapitated), while guitars, bass and vocals were recorded in Dobra 12 Studio, supervised by Piotr Polak. The album was mixed and mastered in Hertz Studio as well. An interesting bit is definitely the guest appearance of Wojciech Hoffmann from the band Turbo on the title track. The musician, an icon of Polish Rock and Metal scene, played an exceptional solo, which certainly gives the song an additional bite. "Tears Of The Ages" it's 50 minutes of real Metal music comprising tradition and modernity. Strong but melodic riffs along the lines of the genre classics like Iron Maiden, Saxon and Judas Priest. The sound is modern, powerful and elaborate, carrying the echoes of the pioneers' heirs, such as Primal Fear. Each piece is complemented by a number of juicy solos, and high-pitched melodic vocals are a flagship of this material. If we add fantasy themed and existential lyrics, then we receive a full picture of a varied, feisty and ambitious album! This is a great album with rapid fire drums and shredding guitar solos that leaves you wanting more!! Highly recommended for fans of: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Primal Fear and Helloween!!!

Maeskyyrn is a black metal entity born of Montreal, Quebec, in 2017. It released a first demo, “Thoughts Of Shattered Dreams,” in January 2018, and assembled as a live band. On October 17, 2019, the sky will turn black as Maeskyyrn prepares to reveal Interludes, their first full length, to the mortal world. With its raw guitars and tortured screams, the full band’s aesthetic is reminiscent of the second wave of black metal. But deep under its charcoaled skin, Maeskyyrn takes advantage of modern technologies, as can be seen in the drum recording, overall production, and layers of discrete background synth. Indeed, as the album title suggests, Maeskyyrn brings forth a number of atmospheric interludes, thus pacing the album with brief uncomfortable moments of respite, before dragging you into the darkest pits with a series of long, punishing tracks. The end result is a traditional but highly unorthodox black metal album, with hints of eclecticism that reveal themselves and grows on you upon each listen, slowly rotting you to the core. This album will appeal to fans of black metal in general, but also to those who have been following Hypnotic Dirge Records since its very first inception. They may not have the thickest distortion out there but you don’t really need that if you can write such memorable bluesy riffs and catchy, ripping leads. Rhythm section gives a proper sense of heaviness with effective, twisting basslines and pounding drumming. A fresh lyrical concept, based on the works of legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, adds that thrilling feeling of intrigue of the Master of Suspense as the tension builds up through these nine tracks. About the production, it has a vintage quality without falling into any “retro” gimmick.

К сожалению, все попытки записать демо так и не увенчались успехом, и через несколько лет группа впала в спячку. В 2008 году ENTRAILS окончательно реформировались, укомплектовали концертный состав, и после пары демо-записей выпустили 2 альбома (2010' "Tales From The Morgue" и 2011' "The Tomb Awaits") на немецком лейбле FDA Rekotz. “Seid” is the third studio album of norwegian black metallers KVALVAAG. It`s more aggressive but at the same time more diverse and unpredictable than our previous albums The unmistakable style of the Norwegian duo will take you in very cold atmospheres, impetuous rides and clearly epic parts. The atmosphere reminds the previous Malum album, but there is a lot more going on at all times. Haunting atmospheric touches and violent rhythmic elements produce something far bleaker and more unsettling than anything else. Kvalvaag has this to say about the new album: “When I started working on the new material, I wanted to surpass our previous work in every way possible. Much more time, effort and better equipment were used compared to our earlier works this time. We also received financial support from “Norsk fond for utøvende kunstnere” who gave us the ability to give the album the production it deserved. It was awesome working with Tom Kvalsonic as he is the man behind the sound of many of the albums we grew up with. He completely understood our vision and significantly raised the quality of the album. I feel we have successfully raised the bar as high as possible this time. We had to evolve a lot as musicians to be able to perform our parts during the recording. Rhythm section is functioning like a single well-oiled machine while the vocalist combines his desperate shrieks with pig squeals and deep-chested growls. To cut it short, this is just the thing. More than four years since their last full-length offering, DEKADENT are now ready to unleash the aptly titled “THE NEMEAN ORDEAL”. Following suit to their previous release, the Slovenes are walking down a darker and more difficult path. To illustrate the album’s character, frontman Artur Felicijan noted that “It’s far heavier than our previous work, melody and composition-wise. I really wanted to go the extra mile with The Nemean Ordeal, to showcase what we’re capable of.” Indeed, the album songs sound more complex and technically advanced, while still retaining that typical sound DEKADENT are known for. “The combination of gritty and darker elements with uplifting melodies really brought us on another level of musical atmosphere. It sounds quite epic and it is the first time I am so satisfied with the final result” added the band’s vocalist. The album was being recorded in a long series of sessions throughout much of the past year as the band was busy honoring stages throughout Europe. The mastering duties were handled once again by Tryptikon/Dark Fortress fame V. Santura in his Woodshed Studio in Germany. Dekadent is a ferocious, yet exquisite and ethereal black metal of unique kind. Comes in a digipak with gold foil finishing.
