Following the recently released debut, the second album of AESLCULETA - a mysterious Russian band with lyrics and concept dedicated to the iconic "Twin Peaks" series - was not long in coming. The band offers a massive piece of melodic yet musically diversified black metal. There is a place for both furious blast beats accompanied by frantic yelling and unexpected canorous passages, as well as some ambient cuts. The album is intriguing, eclectic and rather atmospheric. It can even be referred to as cinematographic to some extent: this music is a perfect soundtrack to "Twin Peaks" series! The album also includes a cover version of a song originally performed by the legendary Cranberries. The immortal tune by Dolores O-Riordan has never been interpreted such a dark, tragic and extreme way!
