Reissue of the first official full-length album by the project Tears Of Mankind that has become a cult album. Released in 2006 as a limited edition of 100 copies on CD-R discs packed in a DVD box, the album was quickly sold out, receiving high scores from fans of the dark scene and in the music press. "To Solitude ..." became the first album in the history of the band, which used exclusively Russian lyrics: "For those who appreciate only the appearance in music, the album will seem a questionable purchase, while those who try to find something special behind the sounds and words are very welcome at the world of Tears Of Mankind. Here you will find an almost perfect harmony between music and poetry, and it"s worth a lot. "(Darkside.ru) Stylistically, "To Solitude..." belongs to pagan metal with doom metal influences in the vein of Katatonia and emotional rock recalling the middle period of Anathema: "Genre ... Let"s call it conditionally ethereal pagan doom, a term definitively reflecting the mood of the album." (metallibrary.ru) The re-release of 2017 also comes as a limited edition, at this time, as a normal CD packed in a six-panel digipack reproducing the original design, including for the first time all lyrics, supplemented by two exclusive bonus tracks. The first bonus track "In the Fog of Midnight" is a part of the never-before-released demo album "Dark Times" (2005), at which the mastermind of the project Tears Of Mankind, Philip Skobelin, began collaborating with the Moscow poet Sergei Terentyev. The second bonus track is an absolutely new composition "In Your Eyes" (2017) based on a poem for the "To Solitude..." album.

The musical project originated in 2013. During the long winter nights, the first songs were written and they came up with a title “Frost on Graves”. When the band had got together they played a live show in 2014, following which the roads of members of the band diverged, except two of them: the project's founder, known under the alias Maahzur Phalmorg, and the guitar player, Arkhatriis Metus. They went on working on the musical material, changed the name of the project and, in early 2017, recorded the “Resounding From The Obscurity” EP, at which the plot is based on the events that take place on planet Khorrendus. The Sleepers of the underworld kingdom Mohraang awoke, lusting for flesh and blood and caused the collapse of humanity. Once again the human race had been destroyed by inrush of dreadful monsters from the planet's depths, of whose existence only the remains of ancient ruins could hint.

Mohraang, a drone/funeral doom metal project from the distant lands in the Russian Far East, was created in 2014 by a person who bears the nickname Maahzur Phalmorg; until now it's music was self-published with extremely limited editions. Main idea of the project was to bring the fantasies sprung from the mind of its creator to life, not sticking to specific musical styles. Mohraang is a realm of beasts under the ground of a hostile planet titled Khorrendus. From the very first seconds of the album you are carried away to the cold and grim maze of underground tunnels with a corresponding musical background. Your consciousness, stripped away from your dead body, drifts into the unknown in pursuit of the things yet undiscovered.

Crafting a cathartic experience through introspective yet raw music, “Fragments of a Fallen Star” explores space by combining psychedelic drone, acoustic passages, and energetic atmospheric black metal to form what Daniel Vanderberg of Cult Nation called:” "the aural equivalent of a DMT trip, rocketing from the moons of Jupiter through a dimensional portal to frosty northern forests, pagan rituals and medieval battlegrounds.” A genuine spirit can be heard all throughout “Fragments…” an album of visceral energy and ritualistic capacity, an album rooted in claustrophobic and raw, yet atmospheric and infectious black metal, interlaced with haunting synth, and transcendent folk melodies. “Fragments of a Fallen Star”, is at times sombre, othertimes haunting, sometimes spiritual, and still at other points abbrasive. It succeeds because it is able to paint a picture through patient and purposeful songwriting, revealing crescendos and cathartic peaks throughout. This album was originally self-released on cassette by Harrow in the summer of 2013. Following on the heels of their 2013 full-length “Once Hidden from Sight” and a 2016 split with Nethermost (USA), it’s hard not to notice the risen ambitions and wider scope presented on Vin de Mia Trix’s new double-album “Palimpsests”. The Kyiv-based band has always combined various doom metal genres and influences and aimed to create intelligent and touching, yet uncompromisingly heavy and dark music, but the songwriting depth, versatility, and atmosphere on “Palimpsests” is on another level compared to their past albums. Palimpsests is an album about archetypes, the stories and characters that exist deep inside our collective subconsciousness, stories so significant and influential that they appear in various peoples' and cultures' mythology. Concepts like rebirth through sacrifice, stealing knowledge from the gods, or the great cleansing flood can be found anywhere from Hinduism through Ancient Greek myths to Christianity, proving their importance in shaping societies and civilizations. These stories are told to this day, and “Palimpsests” album tries to retell them once again, adding to the eternal cycle. The name “Palimpsests” summarizes the spectrum of themes the band aims to convey and embodies the concept of multi-layered meanings and symbols expressed through musical, lyrical, and visual content. Musically, “Palimpsests” is rooted in Extreme Doom, venturing occasionally into the territories of Prog Rock and Post-Metal. Mixing and mastering were handled by Damon Good of the mighty Mournful Congregation, making sure the production quality matches the music's ambitiousness. The double album is presented as a 4-panel digipack with an exclusive 36-page booklet designed by the Kyiv-based Seri/graf Studio.

Студийный death-doom проект «Тальга» из Минска представляет свой дебютный альбом – «В череде сонных вьюг». Запись альбома началась в самом конце 2013 года на минской студии «FORZ». Режиссёром записи выступил Дмитрий Голодко. Основной состав проекта выглядел так – Евгений Харитонов (вокал, гитара, тексты, бас-гитара), Иван Крайко (гроул-вокал, гитара), Влад Калинин (барабаны). Альбом писался долго и непросто. Многие аранжировки и спорные моменты находились и решались прямо на студии. Принципиальным моментом была запись только живых инструментов без использования семплов и синтезаторов. Поэтому альт, клавиши, баян и всё, что можно услышать в альбоме, писалось на студии вживую. Для исполнения некоторых партий были приглашены наши друзья – музыканты других коллективов. Так в запись баса внесли свой вклад Александр Волчек «HOK-КEY» и Станислав Сюзев «Ivory». В качестве баяниста выступил Андрей Боровой, Ксения Марочкина исполнила партии альта и фортепиано, а на бэк-вокале в нескольких эпизодах появилась Елена Бережная. Принципиальным моментом было использование в текстах родной «русско-язычной» лирики. Помимо текстов, написанных лидером проекта Евгением Харитоновым, в альбом вошла песня «Я – вечная река» на стихи его старого друга Максима Бородича, датированные аж 2001-м годом. Дописывался альбом и сводился уже на студии Дмитрия Микулича. Нужно сказать, что после сведения большей части материала и записи 2-х последних песен с Дмитрием, было решено переписать все партии бас-гитары, так как в последних песнях использовался другой инструмент и его звук безапелляционно лучше сел в микс и придал материалу совершенно иное звучание и общую атмосферу. Правда, некоторые фрагменты остались нетронутыми. Звукорежиссером сведения альбома и записи последних песен выступил Дмитрий Микулич. Финальный мазок звукорежиссёрской кистью, а также весомый вклад в итоговый звук альбома внёс Евгений Виноградов – звукорежиссёр московской студии «Дай-рекордс», который заметно поправил дела в миксах и сделал не только финишный мастеринг, но и поработал как саунд-продюсер, помогая ценными советами по улучшению общего звучания. Свою концепцию имело и оформление обложки альбома и буклета. Визуально хотелось полного погружения в зиму – как можно большей лаконичности, чистоты и пространства. В качестве обложки альбома была использована работа прекрасного швейцарского фотографа Пьера Пеллегрини. Автором остальных фотографий, использованных в оформлении буклета, стал минский фотограф Александр Вафик.

A special issue of the debut album by SIGNIST (melodic death metal) from Tomsk recorded as early as in 2005, which has not been released by any label yet. The material presented on the debut can be qualified as melodic death metal only superficially. In the process of listening to the album it becomes evident that melody and death metal are not the only foundation stones of this project. Although the musicians refer to their style as Dark Metal, the musical palette used by the band is much wider than the standard characteristics of these genres.
