"When Life And Death Destroy" - дебютная полноформатная работа украинского коллектива MIND STRUCTURE, тем не менее успевшая стать достаточно ожидаемой еще за долго до официальной даты релиза. Музыкальный материал представляет собой смесь множества ингридиентов, где доминирующая роль принадлежит modern metal с сильным влиянием таких жанров, как progressive metal, melodic death, shred, metalcore и некоторых других. Гитарные и барабанные партии для альбома записаны в феврале 2010-го в киевской студии BlackLight Studio, известной по работе с таким коллективами, как KHORS, BALFOR, DIMICANDUM и др. Летом 2011-го на домашней студии Александра Главного (AUTUMNIA, ex-MOURNFUL GUST, ex-VAE SOLIS) записаны партии вокала и бас-гитары. Сведением занимался Tony Alien (T.A. Production) - автор звука многих команд, среди которых UNGRACE, ILLIDIANCE, MOURNFUL GUST, HELL:ON и прочие. Оформление выполнено украинским мастером Вячеславом Смишко (Nurgeslag), известного своими работами для ROTTING CHRIST, AUTUMNIA, FLYING, MOURNFUL GUST.

The crushing debut full-length by this German Death Metal warmachine that was previously only available on vinyl/tape/digital since its April 2019 release. Minenfeld started as a rehearsal room project in summer 2016. They never intended to record anything, particularly no album. Actually they started the band as a drunken idea, born from their passion for old school Death Metal (most notably Bolt Thrower, Hellhammer and Beherit), but immediately got to play a show, so they were pretty much forced to write a few songs. Afterwards, they decided to record those songs, which led to the split w/ Kriegszittern. After another split w/ Cryptic Brood and the release of a promo tape in between splits, they decided to record their debut album, "The Great Adventure", at the Tonmeisterei Oldenburg studios in Autumn 2018, which was released by Fucking Kill Records (vinyl) and Lycanthropic Chants (tape). The band's topic of choice for the lyrics since day one has been WW1. The idea has always been to create music that captures this war in all its crudeness and primitivism, and sonically conjure up the mud, steel, blood and death in these battlefields. To achieve this, the music is heavy, rumbling, apocalyptic, grinding and thundering, accentuated by many original samples from those times: songs, speeches and excerpts from radio broadcasts, most especially taken from the U.S. propaganda after their entry into the war. The idea to contrast this propaganda of a "great adventure" that awaits on the other side of the world with the sad reality of war, where many searched for glory yet only found death, fascinated them and led them to write the album, and ultimately use that "great adventure" expression as the title. Next album - next topic. Minority Sound like to experiment. Eventhough it might not be an experiment in common sense they like to try what they haven't tried before. And this is the case of Toxin. The album's topics are mental disorders, addictions, envy, hate and ... love. Love to a woman, love to a man, love to drugs, love to yourself and of course all of its dark sides. It is an album of many genres. Ranging from harsh industrials, through melodic Metal, Death Metal, Thrash Metal to very modern approach and it cannot be put into one specific box. Minority Sound have picked Dan Friml's The Barn studios to record the album. And it happened during 14 cold December days of 2018. Final mix and mastering has been yet again given to a canadian producer Rom di Prisco and the overall sound is once more way ahead of its predecessors. Interesting fact is that all the songs for Toxin were composed quite quickly during 4 month in Fall 2017. That's something unique if we take into account that previous records were composed in a matter of years. Maybe it was given by the mood of the main brain of the band: Otus Hobst who went through a couple of rock-bottom falls and mental breakdowns during 2017. We can say that Toxin is kind of a detox from the negative thoughts. It is about things that simply had to get out and that's what makes this album immediate and emotive. Lyrics were co-written by Tom F. Hanzl, better known as Chymus. Lyrics-wise they really were on the same line with Otus so even this matter takes everything to a new level.

“II” marks the return of Madrid doomsters Misty Grey, and their first release with new vocalist Bea, who delivers a wider vocal range and a better quality output. Guitarwork shows a honest devotion for the classic Sabbathesque sound, rather than being a mere copycat or another contestant for the stupid heavier-than-thou competition that’s been flooding the Doom Metal scene for years. They may not have the thickest distortion out there but you don’t really need that if you can write such memorable bluesy riffs and catchy, ripping leads. Rhythm section gives a proper sense of heaviness with effective, twisting basslines and pounding drumming. A fresh lyrical concept, based on the works of legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, adds that thrilling feeling of intrigue of the Master of Suspense as the tension builds up through these nine tracks. About the production, it has a vintage quality without falling into any “retro” gimmick.

Mohraang, a drone/funeral doom metal project from the distant lands in the Russian Far East, was created in 2014 by a person who bears the nickname Maahzur Phalmorg; until now it's music was self-published with extremely limited editions. Main idea of the project was to bring the fantasies sprung from the mind of its creator to life, not sticking to specific musical styles. Mohraang is a realm of beasts under the ground of a hostile planet titled Khorrendus. First appearing as a limited edition LP on the Spanish label Throne Records in 2008, Monarch"s Mer Morte is now made available on cd and digital as a single unbroken thirty-four minute sludge-and-feedback feast that sprawls out further into the dismal black void that these French doom junkies have been lurking in for the past six years. As with previous releases, Monarch move through massive blackened tarpits of low-end riffage and sheets of gluey feedback that are stretched out into monolithic slabs of sound, a grim, glacial ultra-doom that crawls at a saurian sub-tempo. And vocalist Emilie sounds as gaunt and ghostly as ever, her vocalizations materializing across the spatial doomscape as distant ululating wails, breathy whispers, and putrid death shrieks. At the same time, this disc captures the band at their most formless and distended, with long sections of droning buzz where the band collapses into waves of pure amp-rumble and minimalist percussion, smoldering black clouds of ghostly cooing vocals and howling feedback drone, and eerie tectonic melodies... the cd release of Mer Morte is beautifully packaged in an offset-printed four-panel gatefold constructed by Stumptown Printers, with gold metallic ink on a black jacket.

"In 2014, we started to work with our second album entitled "The Plague." We had some lyrics as well as fragments for the title track. The writing went slow for a while, but at the beginning of 2015 we managed to put 10 songs togehter that we all were satisfied with. The songs were recorded in late 2015 after a lot of technical problems during the recording. We contacted Roberto Toderico, who did the artwork for "Where the Angels Fall," and he made some awesome artwork that fits well with the concept of the album. The Plague is basicly 10 diffrent song that all deal with the concept "plague," all from a futuristic perspective to a more ancient perspective. The lyrics are also about how people justify terrible act by pretending to be chosen by god or by gods. The album is a mixture of different types of metal. We were not bound to boundaries when we created songs for Mordenial. Our definition of the "The Plague" is a heavy album with a lot of variation. We are very satisfied with the songs that came out of it, and hopefully you will like them too."

The musical project originated in 2013. During the long winter nights, the first songs were written and they came up with a title “Frost on Graves”. When the band had got together they played a live show in 2014, following which the roads of members of the band diverged, except two of them: the project's founder, known under the alias Maahzur Phalmorg, and the guitar player, Arkhatriis Metus. They went on working on the musical material, changed the name of the project and, in early 2017, recorded the “Resounding From The Obscurity” EP, at which the plot is based on the events that take place on planet Khorrendus. The Sleepers of the underworld kingdom Mohraang awoke, lusting for flesh and blood and caused the collapse of humanity. Once again the human race had been destroyed by inrush of dreadful monsters from the planet's depths, of whose existence only the remains of ancient ruins could hint.

The debute of the Far East folk metal band “Mysteria Mortis” is the atmospheric and melodic metal with the elements of black metal, the strong supply of the symphonic instruments, ethnics and unique female vocals. Every song of the album is a ballad, a story based on the myths and legends of the Children of the North, ancient warriors and wise primogenitors. Ancient tunes, male choir are closely bound with the extreme vocals of guitar player and frontman of the band Finn. This dilutes the atmosphere of music and transmits the bitterness of wars and battles, the memory of the Past. The album is based on folk themes of Slavs and Vikings. “Mysteria Mortis” advocates for the revival of the forgotten Tradition and Knowledge by its creation. Rites with the tambourine, singing of the vargan (kind of jew’s-harp), reading of the ancient mantras mixed with the aggressive guitar riffs – all this creates the unique atmosphere of the album “Waters of Tund”. Lyrics are written in the full-color booklet, design of which represents the conception of creation of the band.

MYSTIC PROPHECY - немецкая thrash/power metal группа, основателями которой стали вокалист Roberto Dimitri Liapakis (DEVIL'S TRAIN, STEEL PROPHET) и басист Martin Albrecht (ex-STORMWITCH), сформировав MYSTIC PROPHECY как сайд-проект в 2000-м году. Также в первоначальном составе были гитарист Gus G и Dennis Ekdahl, параллельно работавшие над демками к своему будущему проекту FIREWIND. "Metal Division" - одиннадцатый полноформатный альбом MYSTIC PROPHECY, вышедший 10-го января 2020-го на греческом лэйбле Rock of Angels Records. Сведением и мастерингом нового альбома занимался Henrik Udd, работавший с AT THE GATES, POWERWOLF, FIREWIND а также над предыдущим релизом MYSTIC PROPHECY "Monuments Uncovered" (2018). Оформлением "Metal Division" занимался Stan-W Decker, чьи работы украшают обложки альбомов RAGE, SERIOUS BLACK, PRIMAL FEAR. Packaged in a jewel case, a 20-page booklet.
