First appearing as a limited edition LP on the Spanish label Throne Records in 2008, Monarch"s Mer Morte is now made available on cd and digital as a single unbroken thirty-four minute sludge-and-feedback feast that sprawls out further into the dismal black void that these French doom junkies have been lurking in for the past six years. As with previous releases, Monarch move through massive blackened tarpits of low-end riffage and sheets of gluey feedback that are stretched out into monolithic slabs of sound, a grim, glacial ultra-doom that crawls at a saurian sub-tempo. And vocalist Emilie sounds as gaunt and ghostly as ever, her vocalizations materializing across the spatial doomscape as distant ululating wails, breathy whispers, and putrid death shrieks. At the same time, this disc captures the band at their most formless and distended, with long sections of droning buzz where the band collapses into waves of pure amp-rumble and minimalist percussion, smoldering black clouds of ghostly cooing vocals and howling feedback drone, and eerie tectonic melodies... the cd release of Mer Morte is beautifully packaged in an offset-printed four-panel gatefold constructed by Stumptown Printers, with gold metallic ink on a black jacket.

The debute of the Far East folk metal band “Mysteria Mortis” is the atmospheric and melodic metal with the elements of black metal, the strong supply of the symphonic instruments, ethnics and unique female vocals. Every song of the album is a ballad, a story based on the myths and legends of the Children of the North, ancient warriors and wise primogenitors. Ancient tunes, male choir are closely bound with the extreme vocals of guitar player and frontman of the band Finn. This dilutes the atmosphere of music and transmits the bitterness of wars and battles, the memory of the Past. The album is based on folk themes of Slavs and Vikings. “Mysteria Mortis” advocates for the revival of the forgotten Tradition and Knowledge by its creation. Rites with the tambourine, singing of the vargan (kind of jew’s-harp), reading of the ancient mantras mixed with the aggressive guitar riffs – all this creates the unique atmosphere of the album “Waters of Tund”. Lyrics are written in the full-color booklet, design of which represents the conception of creation of the band.

It succeeds because it is able to paint a picture through patient and purposeful songwriting, revealing crescendos and cathartic peaks throughout. This album was originally self-released on cassette by Harrow in the summer of 2013. Now, more than three years later this underrated Blackened Folk album will be released in a digipack CD by Hypnotic Dirge Records on November 8. The title of the project speaks of fundamental unknowableness and hostility of the physical realm. The image used in the title of the album - flags in the dust - was borrowed from William Faulkner. It is a symbol of formally announced ethical values that are not observed in practice in the era of bigotry, consumption and torpor. As for the music itself, the style of the project was shaped by a 'three-guitar canon' as represented by Mournful Congregation and tends towards the use of multiple layers with occasional heavy passages and doom-death riffs.

Wormlight as a band began as melodic black metal band from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 2014 under the name Unhallowed by King Antichrist (Drums) and Deafeathered (Guitar) . Soon Lator Mortis (Guitar) joined them and they recorded and released their rst demo/Ep “An Ancient Enemy” that same year. In 2015 Deafeathered left the band and the band reached out to Tiamat Invictuz whom joined the band in time for the recording of the “Blood elds” Ep. At the same time a name change was made to Wormlight, as well as changes in lyrical themes. XENTRIX - thrash metal группа, сформированная в 1984-м году в городе Прэстон (Англия). До 1988-го группа существовала под названием SWEET VENGEANCE и даже выпустила в таком виде 4-песенное дэмо. Почти сразу XENTRIX попали на лэйбл Roadrunner Records, где вышло три полноформатных альбома - "Shattered Existence" (1989), "For Whose Advantage?" (1990) и "Kin" (1992). Спустя год после выхода четвертого альбома "Scourge" (1996) группа распалась, разово собравшись для нескольких реюнион-шоу в 2006-м. Полноценный реюнион XENTRIX состоялся в 2013-м и на сегодняшний день в состав входят два оригинальных учатстника - гитарист Kristian Havard и барабанщик Dennis Gasser. "Bury the Pain" - пятый полноформатный альбом XENTRIX (прервавший более чем 20-летнее молчание группы) вышел 7-го июня на Listenable Records.
