Vofa is an ensemble of Icelandic musicians with various backgrounds. For the past 15 years all members have contributed to the Icelandic underground scene, across various genres like: black metal, death metal, punk, grindcore, hardcore, electronica, folk, and doom. Vofa, in turn, is an exploration of the bleak side of life. Their music is rooted in cold & grim doom soundscapes of mysticism & horror, fuelled by the harsh natural essence of their homeland. "A Greater Good" poses challenging questions, wrapped in musicthat is sometimes dark and at other times luminous, spanning from slow-tempo to progressive rock to quasi-mystical litanies. First appearing as a limited edition LP on the Spanish label Throne Records in 2008, Monarch"s Mer Morte is now made available on cd and digital as a single unbroken thirty-four minute sludge-and-feedback feast that sprawls out further into the dismal black void that these French doom junkies have been lurking in for the past six years. As with previous releases, Monarch move through massive blackened tarpits of low-end riffage and sheets of gluey feedback that are stretched out into monolithic slabs of sound, a grim, glacial ultra-doom that crawls at a saurian sub-tempo. And vocalist Emilie sounds as gaunt and ghostly as ever, her vocalizations materializing across the spatial doomscape as distant ululating wails, breathy whispers, and putrid death shrieks. At the same time, this disc captures the band at their most formless and distended, with long sections of droning buzz where the band collapses into waves of pure amp-rumble and minimalist percussion, smoldering black clouds of ghostly cooing vocals and howling feedback drone, and eerie tectonic melodies... the cd release of Mer Morte is beautifully packaged in an offset-printed four-panel gatefold constructed by Stumptown Printers, with gold metallic ink on a black jacket.

The debute of the Far East folk metal band “Mysteria Mortis” is the atmospheric and melodic metal with the elements of black metal, the strong supply of the symphonic instruments, ethnics and unique female vocals. Every song of the album is a ballad, a story based on the myths and legends of the Children of the North, ancient warriors and wise primogenitors. Ancient tunes, male choir are closely bound with the extreme vocals of guitar player and frontman of the band Finn. This dilutes the atmosphere of music and transmits the bitterness of wars and battles, the memory of the Past. The album is based on folk themes of Slavs and Vikings. “Mysteria Mortis” advocates for the revival of the forgotten Tradition and Knowledge by its creation. Rites with the tambourine, singing of the vargan (kind of jew’s-harp), reading of the ancient mantras mixed with the aggressive guitar riffs – all this creates the unique atmosphere of the album “Waters of Tund”. "TerrorVision" - десятый полноформатный альбом ABORTED, релиз которого состоялся 21-го сентября на Century Media Records. Альбом был записан и сведен в немецкой Kohlekeller Studio, работавшими с BENIGHTED, POWERWOLF, CREMATORY а также над предыдущим полноформатником ABORTED "Retrogore" (2016). Wormlight as a band began as melodic black metal band from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 2014 under the name Unhallowed by King Antichrist (Drums) and Deafeathered (Guitar) . Soon Lator Mortis (Guitar) joined them and they recorded and released their rst demo/Ep “An Ancient Enemy” that same year. In 2015 Deafeathered left the band and the band reached out to Tiamat Invictuz whom joined the band in time for the recording of the “Blood elds” Ep. After the recording of the Ep Nordlyst left the band and Tiamat Invictuz took up the vocals as well as guitar. At the same time a name change was made to Wormlight, as well as changes in lyrical themes. On their EP Blood elds, Wormlight gave its listeners a glimpse of what to expect from the northern warriors,on they returning now on 2018 with their new album, Wrath Of The Wilds set for worldwide release 2018.
