After many years of silence, Italian dark scene legends CULTUS SANGUINE are back, full of strength and inspiration, and with skills that have become perfectly honed. Their return presents dark metal at its purest, distilled into a deeper, darker, and doomier form. Entitled "Dust Once Alive", the new album tells about the tragedy of the gray and mundane life, trudging along from day to day and approaching a sad ending. Signs, goals, and trail lights are no more than false illusions for these ultimately meaningless lives. The recording was made at ADSR Studio by sound engineer Carlo Meroni, who’s known for working with many bands in the Italian extreme scene and is a master of his craft. The album’s mastering took place at the Moonhouse studio in Milan. The release comes in a stylish four-page digipak with a booklet to complement the aesthetic pleasure of the dark art of CULTUS SANGUINE.
First official for the CIS countries reissue of the fourth full-length album "The Book of Kings" by Australian doomsters Mournful Congregation. A delightfully sad album, personifying the pain of humanity, intertwined with mysticism. Acoustic inserts melancholy sound into oblivion, throwing you beyond reason. Vocal envelops its captivating beauty. All 4 songs combine the cold of sad souls. 300 copies in a collectible 6-panel digipak, contain a sticker, a Pit-Art CD, and a 16-page booklet including the names of the fans involved in the fundraiser.
The album has been recorded at Psychosomatic studios by M.A Riutort and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, like their previous album, and the cover artwork has been made by Gonzalo Aeneas.
In the large list of contributions, you can find Heike Langhans of the Swedish band Draconian, who sings in a song of the album.
This new disc is a bit more epic, intense and dark than the previous ‘Compassion Forlorn’, who had excellent reviews and took the band to play in several European cities, and it will delight to all the Doom Metal fans over the world.
