Reissue of the first official full-length album by the project Tears Of Mankind that has become a cult album. Released in 2006 as a limited edition of 100 copies on CD-R discs packed in a DVD box, the album was quickly sold out, receiving high scores from fans of the dark scene and in the music press. "To Solitude ..." became the first album in the history of the band, which used exclusively Russian lyrics: "For those who appreciate only the appearance in music, the album will seem a questionable purchase, while those who try to find something special behind the sounds and words are very welcome at the world of Tears Of Mankind. Here you will find an almost perfect harmony between music and poetry, and it"s worth a lot. "(Darkside.ru) Stylistically, "To Solitude..." belongs to pagan metal with doom metal influences in the vein of Katatonia and emotional rock recalling the middle period of Anathema: "Genre ... Let"s call it conditionally ethereal pagan doom, a term definitively reflecting the mood of the album." (metallibrary.ru) The re-release of 2017 also comes as a limited edition, at this time, as a normal CD packed in a six-panel digipack reproducing the original design, including for the first time all lyrics, supplemented by two exclusive bonus tracks. The first bonus track "In the Fog of Midnight" is a part of the never-before-released demo album "Dark Times" (2005), at which the mastermind of the project Tears Of Mankind, Philip Skobelin, began collaborating with the Moscow poet Sergei Terentyev. The second bonus track is an absolutely new composition "In Your Eyes" (2017) based on a poem for the "To Solitude..." album.

Odradek Room, a progressive metal band with doom elements returns this autumn with their follow-up to their mature and intelligent debut album “Bardo. Relative Reality.” released in 2013. The "Man of Silt" album explores the nature of personality, and is based on approaches and conceptual understanding of buddhism, but utilizes a system of european symbolism This is a story about an abstract travel of a human from nothingness to nonexistence, during which he tries to see and understand himself. He sees his personality melting and rising, splitting and merging. He sees that his personality is nothing more than a combination of figures like on a chessboard in Herman Hesse"s magic theatre. His personality is conditioned as everything else is in the world of forms. The human sinks in his own scaring, sick illusions and consciousness projections, and sees clear light and clear nature of reality. This story has neither a beginning nor an end, everyone who is born, who considers himself an individual, walks through this cycle...but in a new way each time. Everything is constantly changing...But in some way stays the same. Until one realizes this cycle. “A Man of Silt” will be co-released between Hypnotic Dirge Records and BadMoodMan Music in an edition of 500 copies. A limited edition 6 panel digipack will also be available from each label in a limitation of 100 copies each. The album should appeal to fans of doom metal in general, but also listeners of prog metal bands such as late-Katatonia, mid-Opeth, Ihsahn, and Devin Townsend.

A reimagined version of the self-titled debut "Intaglio" album originally released in 2005. The new version contains parts and sounds that were not included in the original version of the album, which is now in their place as originally intended. Every second of all the original source tracks underwent restoration and processing using top-class digital and analog equipment. Moreover, for the new version of the album, all drum parts were live recorded, without the use of triggering and sampling technologies, which is very rare nowadays. The album was restored and remixed by Evgeny Semenov (When Nothing Remains, Woe Unto Me, Sorrowful Land) at Slow Burn Studio, mastering was performed by Mika Jussila (Shape Of Despair, Isole, Unholy, Moonspell) at Finnvox Studios.

The Sunset Forsaken project was established in Donetsk in 2014 by musician Andrey Tolok as an alternative to his black metal project Haissem, since the music he composed did not fit into the frames of a single project.
The second full-length album, "85 Nerves", is finally released on CD by Solitude Productions.
Lyrically, the album consists of four completely different narrative stories. "Dulcet Amnesia" tells the story of a man who has lost his memories and, at the same time, found an incomprehensible calm, for whom loneliness became an anesthesia that split him from the rest of the world. “Through The Moon I've Seen The Sorrow Born” brings into the story of a man who, looking at the Moon, sees his life, which is divided into two periods: “before” and “after”. "The Ebony Chasm Of Despair" tells how a person, while falling into a bottomless abyss, observes what happened to our civilization throughout its existence. The final title track "85 Nerves" sheds light on the story of a woman, who was trapped within her dreams ...
Musically, "85 Nerves" is a classic dark metal with a doom / death influence, with typical genre features, such as melodic solos throughout the composition, growl as the main vocal, and viscous riffing.
The album is released as a 6-panel limited edition digipack.

The second album by the Irish band Superstatic founded by Rustam, the founding member of Rakoth and Umbral Presence, who also used to play bass in Cruachan. The name of the band is derived from the debut Rakoth album, "Superstatic Equilibrium", however this time Rustam (under the name of Alex) has turned to doom death metal. On "Glimmering Veil" the music leaned more towards funeral doom metal, became darker and more complex, incorporating elements of horror. At the same time lyrics are based on works by Harlan Ellison, Wilhelm Hauff, Stephen King and Arthur Machen, and videogames Morrowind and System Shock 2, which makes listening to "Glimmering Veil" even more interesting and unpredictable.
Guitar parts were performed by Sergei Lazar (Arkona, Rossomahaar), who has also mixed the album. The album was mastered by Tom Waltz, known from his work with Venom, Annihilator, Dopethrone and many other artists.

In a way, this is the return of metal. Why? Because the music that used to blow us away with energy, honesty, meaning and nonconformity is in the wake of extinction. It's dominated by a complete lack of creative vision and playing by established patterns with total disregard of the mystery and visual component. Yet, maybe the most unfortunate fact is a complete loss of the mystical and dark aura that used to embrace the whole genre with all of its performers.
Metal as we see it is over the top, mysterious, layered and it takes much more than superficial listening or consuming to delve deeper into the very message that music conveys. It also has a strong visual imagery that, along with the musical part, represents two sides of the same coin which cannot exist without each other.

A YOUNG MAN'S FUNERAL - проект A.S. (Алексея Славина - все инструменты, музыка). "Thanatic Unlife" - это второй полноформатный релиз проекта. На первом лонгплее в качестве вокалиста выступил голландец André de Heus (Serenity Forgotten, Nymphea Aurora). В этот раз A.S. пригласил исполнить вокальные партии E.S., своего коллегу по WHO DIES IN SIBERIAN SLUSH - лидера и основателя WDISS. "Thanatic" - редко используемое прилагательное, от греческого слова "thanatos" -"смерть", а также имени демона, являющегося олицетворением смерти. Слово "unlife" по контексту - не смерть, но смертеподобная жизнь. В музыкальном плане эта работа - дань ретро-фьюнерал думу. Винтажный саунд, риффы в духе THERGOTHON, классические funeral-doom-вокальные линии. С точки зрения идеи и текстов "Thanatic Unlife" - концептуальный альбом, ведущий повествование от частного к общему, от локального примера человеческого паразитизма до возможного результата в масштабах галактики. В написании текстов на этом альбоме приняли участие: B. - басист/вокалист новосибирской funeral-doom группы STATION DYSTHYMIA; Stigmatheist - мастермайнд канадского funeral-doom проекта EGO DEPTHS; так же данный альбом стал дебютом в качестве автора текста для известного российского doom-блоггера Lightbinger'a. Оформление альбома подготовил московский художник Матвей Whichfinder Бобков, известный по работам с WHO DIES IN SIBERIAN SLUSH. Первый трек альбома "CURSE" - реальная история небольшого уральского города, возникшего на месте древнего поселения, где были открыты золотоносные россыпи. Вскоре здесь начали добывать и медь, был построен первый медеплавильный завод. После нескольких десятилетий добычи медной руды и выплавки меди, город стал зоной чрезвычайной экологической ситуации. За 100 лет существования медеплавильный комбинат, никогда не имевший очистных сооружений, выжег и засыпал шлаком огромную территорию вокруг себя. После переработки породы остаются тысячи тонн отбросов, их сваливают недалеко от завода. Терриконы переработанной породы высятся на десятки метров. И сегодня комбинат выбрасывает в атмосферу более сотни тонн ядовитых газов в год. Производные свинца, серы, мышьяка и меди выпадают на прилегающую территорию в виде кислотных дождей, от которых гибнет вся растительность. В местной реке уровень содержания железа в 500 раз превышает допустимую норму. На расстоянии 100 метров от берегов ничего не растет. У жителей города множество генетических и приобретенных заболеваний: раковые опухоли, экзема, дефекты внутриутробного развития, слабоумие, церебральный паралич. Второй трек "REMORSE" повествует о паразитической сущности человеческого существа и человечества в целом. Расплодившись, создав языки, машины и искусственный интеллект, люди почувствовали себя хозяевами на Земле. Ведомые своим разумом, будучи узниками времени и плоти, люди создали хаотичный и дисгармоничный мир. Превратили прекрасную планету в ад, вырваться из которого нет никакой возможности. Текст третьего трека "SALVATION" - это взгляд на отдельно взятую планету, пережившую экологическую катастрофу. С неба ливнем льет дождь из расплавленных камней, на поверхности мирно бурлят океаны лавы, которым безмолвно вторят погруженные во мрак льды бескрайней пустыни. Добро пожаловать в Ад. Этот страшный мир находится слишком близко к своей звезде и всегда повернут к ней одной стороной, в результате чего планета разделена на два совершенно непохожих друг на друга мира: в одном бурлят океаны лавы, а другая, обделенная вниманием своего Солнца, погружена во мрак и закована во льды..."

Emotions and messages conveyed by Fretting Obscurity are based on philosophical existentialism and the works of Jean-Paul Sartre. The title of the project speaks of fundamental unknowableness and hostility of the physical realm. The image used in the title of the album - flags in the dust - was borrowed from William Faulkner. It is a symbol of formally announced ethical values that are not observed in practice in the era of bigotry, consumption and torpor. As for the music itself, the style of the project was shaped by a 'three-guitar canon' as represented by Mournful Congregation and tends towards the use of multiple layers with occasional heavy passages and doom-death riffs.

Pagan Folk Metal from Russia. On "Goi, Rode, Goi" Arkona, the Pagan Metal mongers revolving around frontlady Masha Scream, give the legends and traditions of their Russian homeland new life and thus, forge steadfastly forth creating a captivating mix of metal and folk exceeding in a welcomed diversity. The characteristic signature sounds stemming from the mind of Masha run through the compositions in which folk melodies, delivered by authentic and at times medieval instruments, join the lively metal riffs, blastbeats, and double bass interludes. The songstress and concurrent band mastermind provides depth with varied vocal lines that include a wide spectrum of clean and black metal parts. The highlight of this latest work is undoubtedly the monumental "Na moey Zemle" on which an illustrious guest line-up (Heidevolk, Menhir, Månegarm, etc.) provide the track with a character all of its own, making it the core of "Goi, Rode, Goi". While this sweeping and majestic epic song stands out deservingly, it certainly does not take away from the remaining tracks' songwriting merits. As in the past, Kris Verwimp's masterful brush has visually ennobled this package. Arkona have exceeded their previous and much praised releases with "Goi, Rode, Goi" and proceed to finally take over the Pagan Metal throne. "Cold" shows a fifty minutes long mystery about life and death, joy and sorrow represented through a harmonious combination of melodic death-doom metal with traditional doom metal features and wonderful deep lyrics. The re-issue comes as a limited edition six-panel digipack with a four-page booklet containing lyrics.

For the first time the third person has broken through into the NORD"N"COMMANDER creativity in the album called "Akkortheon" (2005). This third person is Accordion. Just the name of this musical instrument is played up in a mystic spirit in the appellation of the material. Almost all arrangement is based on accordion riffs and solos which are dashed with declamation, a drum computer and sometimes a sampled choir. The participants of NORD"N"COMMANDER themselves call the style of the album "quasi funeral doom". Nevertheless guardians of "funeral purity" should not get disappointed. Lack of "guitarism" does not disturb but, on the contrary, peaks sombre, "enshrouding" colour. With what does this album enshroud us? With clouds, fogs and primarily with lava. "There are empyreumatic graves inside volcanos. I am gazing into them and picture to myself my nature without flaws. Creatures from Beyond live here. But I try to dissolve myself in lava. And lava is rolling away from me again. It seems that I"m desolating myself. Maybe this process is my mask, maybe the mask is me. There is empyreumatic graves inside volcanos. Waiting for a next Stream of lava... I"ll sink into it and I"ll live for ever". The above is an interlinear translation of the Russian-language text out of the album. This lava is not only a material substance but something more subtile, something combined of ancient memory and anticipation of this memory in aftertime. Just a flavour of lava can be revealed in accordion sound and vocal - melodics of language multiplied by melody of notes. Voices of Equinox... The glow of dying embers... Membranes of leathern wings... Generally speaking we are initiated into a plot. Taste it!
