After many years of silence, Italian dark scene legends CULTUS SANGUINE are back, full of strength and inspiration, and with skills that have become perfectly honed. Their return presents dark metal at its purest, distilled into a deeper, darker, and doomier form.
Entitled "Dust Once Alive", the new album tells about the tragedy of the gray and mundane life, trudging along from day to day and approaching a sad ending. Signs, goals, and trail lights are no more than false illusions for these ultimately meaningless lives.
The recording was made at ADSR Studio by sound engineer Carlo Meroni, who’s known for working with many bands in the Italian extreme scene and is a master of his craft. The album’s mastering took place at the Moonhouse studio in Milan.
The release comes in a stylish four-page digipak with a booklet to complement the aesthetic pleasure of the dark art of CULTUS SANGUINE.

The thing the fans of the funeral doom were constantly asking about and were waiting for has finally come true: the second album of the mysterious EA "II" is now released on vinyl for the first time! The album underwent special mastering and received an updated design worthy of this masterpiece, echoing the vinyl release of the band's debut album. The first press contains a limited number of unique colored LPs (royal blue with black splatter vinyl), which will not be reprinted in the future. Just like the colored LPs of the Ea Taesse vinyl reissue have been quickly sold out, becoming a rarity, this limited edition may suffer the same enviable fate. The LPs were printed in Europe, like the previous Ea Taesse vinyl release.

The name of the band is derived from the debut Rakoth album, "Superstatic Equilibrium", however this time Rustam (under the name of Alex) has turned to doom death metal. On "Glimmering Veil" the music leaned more towards funeral doom metal, became darker and more complex, incorporating elements of horror. At the same time lyrics are based on works by Harlan Ellison, Wilhelm Hauff, Stephen King and Arthur Machen, and videogames Morrowind and System Shock 2, which makes listening to "Glimmering Veil" even more interesting and unpredictable.
Guitar parts were performed by Sergei Lazar (Arkona, Rossomahaar), who has also mixed the album. The album was mastered by Tom Waltz, known from his work with Venom, Annihilator, Dopethrone and many other artists.
The album is released also as a limited edition four panel digipak featuring a twelve page booklet, in order to make your journey into the depths of "Glimmering Veil" even more unforgettable.

In anticipation of a full-length album that's scheduled for late 2021, Intaglio are ready to share a new single with listeners. The composition "Subject To Time" is presented in a simplified form in order to provide first impressions of the conceptual work that is the upcoming record. A number of various musicians took part in the recording of the album, performing the live drums as well as a variety of classical instruments. Classically trained professional vocalists also contributed to the recording, and some of this rich variety can be heard on "Subject To Time".

This issue includes "Dead Hopes" EP and "The Last Chains" demo, harmoniously combined in one CD with a total duration of 45 minutes. The band from Italy currently represented by musician Damien (also the vocalist of the Italian black metal band Comando Praetorio) follows the traditions of doom death metal influenced by the British doom metal scene of the early 90s, with a strong inspiration by such bands as Evoken, Esoteric, Dead Can Dance and Lycia. Tetramorphe Impure is a six-panel-digipack shaped journey through the subconscious corridors of mind, where your spirit will become for a moment free from the earthly chains of flesh.

The first official CD edition of the mini-album «Amber & Gold» from one of the most interesting and bright doom metal bands in the England. In honor of the 200th anniversary of the release of the classic work of the English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) "Prometheus Unbound", atmospheric doom/death metal outfit SHALLOW RIVERS present to all of ye its new conceptual epic poem of the same name for the romantic drama, based on it. The band tried to convey, within the framework of their musical style, the atmosphere and grandeur of the ancient Greek era, the endless torment of the protagonist and his indestructible spirit, burning as a guiding star for everyone.

A fresh single by the Russian doom death metal band RESTLESS OBLIVION preceding the new album demonstrates loyalty to their style and high creative potential of the musicians, which has not bleached over the years since the debut album "Sands of Time", which once received high scores from fans and professional critics.

The new album of S.C.A.L.P., a legendary band from Oryol, is a quite mature work that was released after a long break. “To the Heroes of the Past” doesn’t bow to today’s music sound trend of a similar genre. It’s a kind of live sound blending of heavy metal and melancholic rock.
The album includes 10 tracks arranged in one conceptual line, telling one story from the beginning to the end. The track "Third Spring” was composed with the participation of Evgeniy Ryzhenok, one of the founders of the band, who died tragically in 2004.

The fourth full-length album of the Belgian quintet Marche Funèbre entitled "Einderlicht", which is translated as "light at the end", combines all traditional elements known from the previous works of the group: death, black and doom metal fused in a unique mixture with strong melodies and wide range vocals.
Thematically, "Einderlicht" focuses on the strange ability of humanity to consciously decide to commit suicide.
Accounting for their previous experience, which has borne good results, the musicians decided to again ask to perform recording Markus Stock, known for his cult bands and participation in the recording of Empyrium, Vision Bleak, Alcest, Secrets Of The Moon and many others. Brooke Schaden has created another magical cover art for this piece, like for all other Marche Funèbre's full-length albums. The album comes as a digipak with a twelve-page booklet, and includes an exclusive bonus track "Gone".

The Sunset Forsaken project was established in Donetsk in 2014 by musician Andrey Tolok as an alternative to his black metal project Haissem, since the music he composed did not fit into the frames of a single project.
The second full-length album, "85 Nerves", is finally released on CD by Solitude Productions.
Lyrically, the album consists of four completely different narrative stories. "Dulcet Amnesia" tells the story of a man who has lost his memories and, at the same time, found an incomprehensible calm, for whom loneliness became an anesthesia that split him from the rest of the world. “Through The Moon I've Seen The Sorrow Born” brings into the story of a man who, looking at the Moon, sees his life, which is divided into two periods: “before” and “after”. "The Ebony Chasm Of Despair" tells how a person, while falling into a bottomless abyss, observes what happened to our civilization throughout its existence. The final title track "85 Nerves" sheds light on the story of a woman, who was trapped within her dreams ...
Musically, "85 Nerves" is a classic dark metal with a doom / death influence, with typical genre features, such as melodic solos throughout the composition, growl as the main vocal, and viscous riffing.

The fifth release by Australian band Ivan “Silver Screens” develops and affirms their unique personal style that goes far beyond the frames of funeral death doom metal. At the same time, when working on this album, the musicians gained diverse experience and achieved a new level of sound.
A combination of heavy riffs with a lively violin and atmospheric keyboards creates a harmonic unity. Melodies that touch the very soul, together with epic and airiness make the album indeed special and memorable.
The artwork was created by our good friend Ashley Williams who has expressed through acrylics the spirit of the album, representing the sound through the color palettes which were envisioned whilst writing and recording «Silver Screens».

The debut album by Eyeless in Gaza, a band from Armenia, presents a fusion of different styles and gives a fresh look at the genre. A harmonic combination of classical acoustic guitar, academic choral chants, and dark ambient interludes, as well as motifs of the epic funeral doom metal and black doom metal with variable vocals, gives birth to a real epic canvas filled with magic that tells about a personal experience, which can be expressed exclusively by the language of music.
Act I: The Protagonist is an abstract conceptual album, where each track is a stage of personal experience, existential thoughts about destruction as an idea of a new beginning. This is a dreamy and tragic monologue about deep feelings of regret and humility that are melting within us.

From the very first tones the new work by the Italian band Silvered demonstrates high skills of the musicians and carefully crafted material. Original music at the intersection of melodic death metal and melodic doom is filled with powerful energy and real feelings. Two special guests, members the famous Novembre band, took part in the album recording: Carmelo Orlando on vocals and Fabio Fraschini on bass. A beautifully designed booklet was created by Danielle Serra, a professional illustrator and the winner of the Fantasy British Prize, whose works were parts of numerous exhibitions in the US and Europe.

It’s been almost 15 years since death doom act Intaglio released their debut album, and now they are back with some ambitious new material. “The Memory of Death” is a demo single from the forthcoming new album currently in production.

Intaglio has always been a project that’s not afraid to push boundaries and set new standards in the genre. The extensive use of double bass and cello injects a unique character into the recording, and is just one of many things that helps make the band stand out from its peers in death doom metal. Even though it’s only a demo, “The Memory of Death” is a huge step up from the debut in terms of composition and production value.

The full length album is scheduled to be released in 2021.

The third album "Terrene" from international death/funeral doom act Mesmur is a colossal and moving sonic rendering of a dying world. Where their 2017 album S operated on a cosmic scale, Terrene explores similar themes of entropy and impending chaos in a more terrestrial context, and is rife with the suffocating dirges and toxic atmosphere the band is known for. Featuring guest flute and cello performances by Don Zaros of Evoken and the Russian Nadia Avanesova, and another stunning cover design by Ukranian painter Cadaversky, Terrene reaches new levels of scope and ambition for Mesmur in their objective to create a vast and immersive doom metal experience.

The third album by the Italian band continues exploring dark fantasies of the talented musicians. Demonstrating significant progress and development, (EchO) created a mosaic canvas on a melodic death doom metal base filled with outstanding melodies and intersections with different styles, with a touch of psychedelia and a perfect combination of fragility and brutality (both in music and vocals). Carefully crafted arrangements ensured by the coherence and skills of the musicians are the unique feature of (EchO), that was perfected by Greg Chandler (Esoteric), who performed mixing and mastering in Priory Recording Studio.

Ornamentos del Miedo from Spain is an Atmospheric Funeral Doom Metal one-man band formed by Angel Chicote who has played or play in other bands like Graveyard Of Souls, Mass Burial, Ad Nebula Nigra, Ultimo Gobierno, Sinergia, etc, all inside the extreme music. Ornamentos del Miedo was born in mid-2017 as the need to strip the reality of all ornaments and mirages that we have built to adopt us, to a miserable existence across a deep and dark sound. This is the first album named "Este no es tu hogar". Ornamentos del Miedo, it is a trip to the depths of the subconscious, where truth exists naked and unpolluted by the ego and survival instinct. It is a oneiric experience where self-imposed reality fades it. Reflections on life and death. Dark and deep sound like the anguish of existing. For lovers of bands with their own sound.

A solid release from a remarkably variegated band from St. Petersburg whose music, being so diverse, lets you feel the influence of different genres and epochs. Prehistoric avant-garde. The attempt to combine heaviness and folkish fairytaleness ended up successfully. The guys avoided the shallowness that so often accompanies such attempts.
